How to extract, remove, reorder, and rotate PDF pages
Organize pages to share only part of a long PDF or fix the order of a scan. Page numbers refer to positions in the file, which may differ from numbers printed on the document. The first page is page 1.
Worked example
The values below are fictional examples that illustrate the workflow.
Input and settings
Original: pages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Page range & order: 3,1-2
Expected result
Result: original page 3 → page 1 → page 2 3 pages total; original pages 4 and 5 are excluded
Steps
- Choose a document in Organize PDF pages and inspect the thumbnails or page numbers.
- Uncheck unwanted pages, or enter an order such as 3,1-2 and select Apply.
- Rotate sideways pages using their rotation buttons. Repeat a number in the range if you need that page more than once.
- Create and save a new PDF, then check the saved page order and orientation.
What to check
This does not edit text or images within a page. It creates a new PDF from selected pages and leaves your original unchanged.
Thumbnails are shown for the first 24 pages. Later pages remain selectable by number and range. At least one page must be selected.
Processing and saving
Files are processed in your browser without uploads. Download the result before closing the tab and compare it with your original. Learn more in the privacy and file-processing notice.
